We had a great time at Aquafest about two weeks ago now. We went down on Friday and checked out the children's parade. The kids really loaded up on candy that was thrown their way. On Saturday the kids and I were in the 2K fun run. Josh got 4th place in the 9 and under category. The first 3 place got medals. I don't think he realized that he got 4th though because all the kids in every category were running together. I ran with Mackenzie and she did great. She finished ahead of a girl that beat her the last two years. After that, the kids used the money they had saved up to go on a ride each. Mackenzie chose the ferris wheel and I went with her. It was set up in a great place this year right at the edge of the lake. Josh chose some spinning thing that took them up in the air and spun them a couple different ways. He tried to keep his hands up the entire time and ended up with his elbows down over the bar after awhile. Then we ran in to Juli, Joanna's sister, who just happened to come by to watch the concert. The concert was over, but we sat and watched the magician. He was pretty good. On Sunday Joanna was exhausted and took a nap while I took the kids on a walk. I wanted to give her some peace and quite so we walked down to Aquafest for kids fun day. There is a ton of free stuff for kids on Sunday. They loved it. The only bummer was that I couldn't sign them up for the pizza contest because I didn't have my license on me. Apparently you need to show it when you sign your kids up. I'm not sure how my license proves they are my kids, but whatever, so we went home around then. Swim lessons ended and soccer started recently. Tomorrow Mackenzie has her first game and next weekend Josh has a tournament near our house. Josh has been having practices twice a week for the last 4 weeks now. I'm also coaching both their teams again this year.
Levi the little rock star. Levi's been doing great. He's such a little smiler. He gets up in the morning before everyone else and so I've been getting up with him. I toss him in the jogging stroller and we go for a run. Today we went about 4 miles but it's usually been 2 or 3. It's a pain to push the jogging stroller while your running. It's a nice enough jogging stroller but it veers to the left a little. I think I'll just give it a bend and see if I can't straighten it out. We've only been at it for a week now, but it feels good and gives me more energy throughout the day. Also, I was weighing in just under 210 and although I didn't look very big I wasn't feeling that great. After a week I'm under 200. I feel the best when I weigh around 190. We'll see if I can get there. I'm really just out their to get in shape, not to lose weight. I haven't really changed my eating habits and I don't plan to. I eat fairly normal and don't eat much junk. My main weakness is ice cream.

Hmmm ice cream my weakness too! Good Luck Kaleb, planning to do the same once we get the girls off to school...easier to have skimpy meals.
