Mackenzie got second place in the corn shucking contest and Joshua got the award for the cleanest corn. We went to the Evergreen Fair on $2 Tuesday. It was the last day before I had to go back to work and the price was right. Mackenzie was also selected as the crowd cheer leader for one of the racing pigs.

You would have a great time with the grandkids there. It's not nearly as nice as the Lynden Fair, but it's much closer. It seems like we alternate going to Lynden and then Monroe. With football starting during fair week for Josh we couldn't make it to Lynden this year. We'll see how that works out for next year.
Cute. I forgot about $2 Tues...was it really crowded that day? Happy back 2 school- we hope ya have a good year too!
